Conference on the KEDGE Paris campus, in the Auditorium; also available via Microsoft Teams. There has been substantial speculation on the impact of generative AI on employment. Less emphasis has been placed on how GenAI will change the role of the manager. In his talk, Stefano Piano, lecturer at ISEP and lead of the Mindstone AI community in France, will try to close this gap. Drawing on practical examples from the previous wave of computerisation and early GenAI adoption, he will argue that the role of the manager will evolve from task-master to coach.
